A vision and a legacy.
Muhammad Ali Mazidi and Janice Gillispie met in 1984 in Dallas Texas, and soon became best friends and partners. Despite being raised on opposite sides of the world, they developed a unity of mind and purpose that led them through nearly 40 years of life together raising two wonderful sons, writing textbooks, and supporting each other’s individual projects.
Both believed strongly in the power of education to transform individuals and therefore society. Beginning in the 1990s, this led them to create textbooks that were written in a systematic and accessible style that is a hallmark of their educational materials.
Sadly, Muhammad Ali passed away unexpectedly in his 68th year of life. This website and all of our work is dedicated to his memory as an educator who worked tirelessly to help others.
